how do you demo?

In console type record demonamehere

It will then save the demo as a .dem file

To play it back load up CS and type in playdemo demonamehere

When recording a demo always make sure to go into console and type in status. This will show the steamID's of everyone playing.

For the demo name I usually use the last part of the steam ID.
Somthing like this if their steam ID was STEAM_0:1:8292645

I would type this in console
record 1-8292645

Then it would make it even easier to find the person becuase the file name would also give part of the steamID.
